This option includes our professional fees, which involves assisting you with completion of all of the necessary docmentation, transfer of the deceased within 20 running miles during normal office hours, our Norwich Coffin, liaising with the funeral celebrant or minister, preparation and care of the deceased up till the day of the funeral, use of our chapel of rest. It also includes conveyance of the deceased to Herne Bay Crematorium at a day and date of your choosing in our traditional hearse, and the services of the funeral director and four attendants at one funeral venue (service at a church or other venue before or after the crematorium service are additional options available to you.) Additional options, such as alternative vehicles, horse drawn hearse, orders of service, newspaper notices, visual tributes and livestreaming of the crematorium service are available.

Early Morning Cremation Service   £2,650.00

This is a limited funeral service at Herne Bay Crematorium, this takes place at 8.30am Monday to Friday, the total service time is 30 minutes and this includes 20 minutes chapel time. There is a maximum of 20 people able to attend this service. Our price for this service includes transfer of the deceased within 20 running miles during normal office hours, assisting you with the completion of all necessary documentation, care of the deceased up until the day of the funeral, an oak effect coffin and use of our chapel of rest. This is a family-led service and also includes a traditional hearse and 4 attendants on the day of the funeral. No additional services may be added.

Attended Direct Cremation   £2,100.00

This service is similar to the early morning cremation service, except that the service time in the chapel is only ten minutes and there is a maximum of 8 people permitted to attend the service, there is only one piece of music able to be played. We will still assist you in completing all of the necessary documentation, transfer of the deceased within 20 running miles and continue to care for the deceased as with any other type of service, an oak effect coffin is included and the use of our chapel of rest. No additional services may be added.

Non-Attended Direct Cremation   £1,375.00

This service is similar to those direct cremations advertised in the media, transfer of the deceased within 20 running miles, from their home or hospital is included and care of the deceased on our premises up till the day of the funeral. The cremation will take place at time decided by the crematorium and funeral director. However we will inform the family the day before the deceased is conveyed to Herne Bay Crematorium and we will use our traditional hearse rather than alternative vehicles used by some other companies.

Key Points of a Non-Attended Direct Cremation:

• This is a service where no mourners are permitted to attend.
• No Minister or Celebrant in attendance.
• Date of Cremation is at the Crematorium and Funeral Director's availability.
• We will inform you the day before the cremation.
• Cremated remains are usually available for you to collect 3 working days after the cremation from the crematorium
• The deceased is always conveyed to the crematorium in our traditional hearse, unlike some other companies that use alternative vehicles.
